Glove is a piece of garment that is stitched in such a way that enables it to cover whole hand. Men's gloves depict a stromg fashion statement. Genaral gloves have separate sheaths or openings for each finger and the thumb but if there is an opening but no covering sheath for each finger than they are called "fingerless gloves". The glove as we know it today dates from the 11th century England. Gloves richly jeweled and ornamented, were worn as a badge of distinction by royalty and by church dignitaries. Fingerless gloves with one large opening rather than individual openings for each fingers are also called gauntlets.
